WEST HAM CLOSE GAP ON FOURTH
West Ham United have closed the gap on fourth spot on the Premier League log following their slim 2-1 win at home to 10-man Everton on Sunday. The Hammers were able to move within three points of fourth spot and a place in next season’s Champions League thanks to the win over Everton who are struggling to keep their place in the Premier League this season.

The Hammers started last weekend with a six-point deficit on Arsenal in fourth spot, but they were able to reduce the gap to just three points after the Gunners were beaten at Crystal Palace in a London Derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur taking the place of the Gunners in fourth spot due to a better goal difference since the two teams are on the same point.
