Administrator Paul Clement has affirmed Vito Mannone is back in conflict for a beginning spot during the current week’s Championship diversions. Mannone has lost the previous four matches because of preparation ground damage, leaving summer select Sam Walker as the administrator’s favored decision in the objective. At that movement, Royals have grabbed in shape with two successes over Preston North End and a draw most as of late at Brentford on Saturday. That amusement was the primary in the weeks of reading, along with QPR visiting Madejski Stadium on the night of Tuesday (8 pm commencement) before an excursion to the Hawthorns to go up against the club of West Brom on the next Saturday.

Forgiving says he has a major choice to either review Mannone or keep the confidence in Walker. “Vito truly pushed to attempt and be prepared for Brentford – regardless of whether I would have begun him or not is another issue,” he added. “He will be accessible for determination in the following amusements so I should consider what I am will do.” Notwithstanding the upturn in the frame, reading lie just three off the last three in the class table and six untied of a mid-table position. Vito Mannone – The Number One Champion

Vito Mannone has been the number one champion as far as the last season is concerned. However, there are chances that he may be challenged by Walker as well as Anssi Jaakkola. In addition, Luke Southwood, Lewis Ward and George Legg are the youngsters who are yet to make the appearances, but will join Jokull Andresson to head out on loan. John O’Shea is also trying to fill in the game as a goalkeeper. As far as the performances of Vito Mannone in the last season is concerned, he did a spectacular job and was the best replacement for Ali Al-Habsi, but the high standards of Omani did make a repetition of his excellence. He did show his best performances in the matches last season with a 3-1 win prior to the late penalty against Leeds United and QPR which indeed saves the championship status of Reading.

Vito Mannone alongside Sam Walker is likely to take part for the first-team position and Mannone would begin the season as number one. There is a probability that Walker may push him hard during the match and try to get more scores in the league football. However, Mannone likes challenges and will surely do his best to show his excellence as a winner. Mannone has been playing for Reading as he signed a 3 year contract with them in the year 2017. However, the contract fee was not disclosed which may have been close to £2 million.

CHAMPIONSHIP: BRENTFORD AND READING PLAY 1-1

Brentford remain without a win in the English Championship so far as they play a 1-1 draw with Reading on Saturday.

Their guests played to hold them at Griffin Park with Liam Kelly’s penalty cancelling Josh Clarke’s first half opener.

The Bees have been decent but they have not been able to turn performance into victory so far. Following Clarke’s opener in the 16th minute after exchanging passes with Neal Maupay, the team kept up the pressure. However Reading keeper Vito Mannone was excellent, stopping their efforts.

Reading kept on holding their end, and they found rhythm in the second half. Kelly was creating chances in the wings while sub Roy Beerens shook Daniel Bentley. Kelly’s penalty equaled the scoreline but they could not claim match points. […]

Vito Mannone ends his 4 season stay with Sunderland

For a transfer fee of £2 million, Vito Mannone has completed his move from Sunderland over to Reading as his relationship with the English Premier League club reached it’s end.

Vito Mannone had a very unstable period of time as a player of Sunderland. Something that characterized Mannone’s campaign in the Stadium of Light is that there was a specific season where he played in superb form and then in the following season, his appearances were dropped for some reason or another.

For example, during the season of 2013-14, Vito Mannone was named as Sunderland Supporters’ Player of the Year as well as the official Player of the Year for the club but in the following season, he was limited to only making 10 appearances.

One of the reasons of why the amount of appearances from Vito Mannone dropped so suddenly from 1 season to another is due to the signings that were completed as new players were brought in order to compete and the manager on occasions gave the other shot-stopper, the upper hand and more chances in the pitch.

Pantilimon and Jordan Pickford were a few of the goal-keepers that Vito Mannone had to compete against and attempt to get into the starting lineup of the coach who was at the helm during that specific point in time. […]

EVERTON NEGOTIATING ON GETTING PICKFORD

Premier League side Everton FC are reportedly in advanced talks with Sunderland over getting goalie Jordan Pickford this summer.

The relegated side is valuing the highly rated keeper £30 million but the Toffees are hoping to beat down the price.

Pickford is on international duty with the England Under 21 side in Poland where the team is looking at replicating the success of the Under 20 side. Sunderland are negotiating finer details like add ons, clauses and fee payment structuring for the 23-year old player.

The transfer fee is expected in the range of £18.5 million while £11.5 million would be in additional payments. If the deal goes through, Pickford could be the most expensive keeper in the history of Britain. His debut for the BlackCats was in January last year but he has quickly grown through the ranks. […]
