WEST HAM CLOSE GAP ON FOURTH

West Ham United have closed the gap on fourth spot on the Premier League log following their slim 2-1 win at home to 10-man Everton on Sunday. The Hammers were able to move within three points of fourth spot and a place in next season’s Champions League thanks to the win over Everton who are struggling to keep their place in the Premier League this season.


The Hammers started last weekend with a six-point deficit on Arsenal in fourth spot, but they were able to reduce the gap to just three points after the Gunners were beaten at Crystal Palace in a London Derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur taking the place of the Gunners in fourth spot due to a better goal difference since the two teams are on the same point. ARSENAL’S SEARCH FOR GOALKEEPER SET TO CONTINUE

It is no news that Arsenal are in the market for a new goalkeeper as they have been looking for one since last summer. However, they were not as serious in their hunt the last time out as they are right now. The Gunners are still undergoing a major squad overhaul as that has been one of their major goals since the appointment of Mikel Arteta as their manager several months ago.

Italian shot stopper Vito Mannone was in the Sunderland squad who lost to Manchester City during the 2014 League Cup final. Manchester City sealed a third league title thanks to the comeback win over the Black Cats.

Italian goalkeeper Vito Mannone was an Arsenal player when he joined English Championship club Vito Mannone on loan in October 2010. He signed for the Tigers on a short-term loan deal until January 3, 2011.

 

Vito Mannone played for Hull City for the first time in a reserve game which ended 3-0 in favour of his new team and at the expense of opponents Scunthorpe. AS Monaco shot stopper Vito Mannonebecame a cult hero amongst the Sunderland fans at the Stadium of Light following his transfer from Arsenal. Last week Saturday made it eight years since Vito Mannone moved to Sunderland from Arsenal. The Black Cats paid £2m to sign the goalkeeper who had moved to England from his native Italy as a teenager. Vito Mannone played 15 times for the Gunners before signing for Sunderland.

Italian shot stopper Vito Mannone signed for Arsenal as a teenager. He joined the Gunners from Italian Serie A outfit Atalanta in 2005 and the goalkeeper spent one year in the youth team before he was given his professional debut at Barnsley while he was an Arsenal loanee.While he was with the North Londoners, Vito Mannone was sent on loan to Barnsleyas pointed out above and Hull City.

In August 2006, Mannone signed for Barnsley on a three-month loan deal. The Italian was brought in to challenge Nick Colgan as the first choice goalkeeper. He made his debut for Barnsley in a League Cup clash with Blackpool. The game ended 2-2 and penalties were needed to separate the teams. MANNONE BENCHED IN BIG LEAGUE WIN

AS Monaco shot stopper Vito Mannone was on the bench for the entire duration of the big win over Marseille over the weekend. AS Monaco boss opted for first choice goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte in goal for the big home game on Saturday. Benjamin Lecomteand Vito Mannone have shared the goalkeeping duties at AS Monaco this season. BejaminLecomte got the nod for the Marseille game on Saturday ahead of Vito Mannone and he conceded a goal in a 3-1 victory for his team. Serbian midfielder Nemanja Radonij was responsible for the opening goal of the game in the colours of Marseille. NemanjaRadonij gave the visitors the lead on 12 minutes and the goal was enough to hand his team a 1-0 lead at the end of the first half. MANNONE DETERMINED TO MAXIMISE MONACO CAREER

 

Italian shot stopper Vito Mannone is determined to make most of his chance at French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco after signing for them in September 2020. The 32-year-old goal minder was at Reading in the English Championship until the summer when his contract with the Royals ended. He signed for Monaco as a free transfer and has penned a two-year deal until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.


In one of his first interviews as an AS Monaco player, Vito Mannone told reporters that he’s delighted with the opportunity to play in a new league and that he doesn’t want to misuse it.
